Town Hall Square, (Soldier)
Central Keighley
The Cenotaph was unveiled in December 1924 with the bronze
sculptures made by Henry Fehr of South Kensington in London.
This sculpture originally had a bayonet fitted to the soldiers rifle.
The local authority, concerned as to the safety of anyone climbing
on the statue, removed it and now during remembrance
services, it is temporally replace by a wooded bayonet.
