Although
it says "Ingrow & Hermit Hole", it is located in Whinswood.
There was several complaints from the locals when this went up in
early 2004, but the Keighley Town Council agreed that its wording
was correct for it is the start of the town council area.
The sign was designed by Councillor Tony Wright, (Deputy Keighley Town
Council Mayor 2004~2005 & Town Mayor 2005~2006), and was installed
in 2004 only to be removed and the poles altered to allow wheelchairs to pass
underneath.
